The Art Of The Photo

“You don't take a photograph, you make it.”

Capture the Moment with Photography
The Power of a Picture
ABOUT
At Kent State University, I delved into the realm of fine arts, honing my creative instincts and expanding my horizons. Amid the paintbrush strokes and sculpting tools, I discovered the power of photography – a medium that could encapsulate emotions, perspectives, and stories in a single frame. These formative years laid the foundation for my unique approach to photojournalism. My commitment to photography led me to various photography communities, each contributing to my growth as an amateur photojournalist. As a proud member of the Livermore Valley Camera Club, the Northern California Camera Club, and the Photographic Society of America, I immersed myself in a vibrant network of fellow photographers, exchanging ideas and learning from diverse perspectives. In addition, my membership in the National Press Photographers Association amplified my dedication to responsible and ethical photojournalism. In the heart of every photograph lies a story waiting to be told. My evolution from a fine arts student to a pro bono photojournalist reflects a dedication to preserving the essence of humanity through visual narratives. With each click of the shutter, I endeavor to capture the raw emotion and truth that define our world. Through my affiliation with photography clubs and organizations, I'm not just a witness to life's moments – I'm a storyteller, an advocate, and a believer in the power of images to inspire change.
